As an Editor and Producer with extensive experience in postproduction and familiarity with the cutting rooms of both studio and independent films, Alejandro Valdes-Rochin is uniquely qualified to collaborate in the creation of powerful visual media. Recently his focus has been on editing non-fiction. Working in this field allows him to use his story and editing skills to tackle challenging subjects while crafting stories that are both intimate and visually captivating.

Alejandro’s work has been shown theatrically in the U.S. and on outlets such as Fusion, PBS, AlJazeera America and Vice’s Motherboard. It has also premiered at both the Tribeca and LA Film Festivals and has been programmed at various other national and international festivals. He has also collaborated in the creation of TV Specials, Featurettes and Webisodes for feature films distributed by Warner Bros. and Overture Films.

Projects that Alejandro has collaborated on have collectively garnered a duPont-Columbia Award and an Edward R. Murrow Award. His latest project, “Science Fair”, is premiering at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival
